How to Apply Your Vinyl Sticker
We supply the vinyl for you to apply to your chosen sign.
- Prepare the surface. Make sure it is smooth, clean and completely dry. Remove any dust, grease or cleaning-product residue.
- Position the design. Place the vinyl on the sign with the backing paper still attached.
- Remove the backing. Lift the design and slowly peel away the backing paper. Avoid touching the sticky side of the vinyl.
- Apply the vinyl. Lower the design gradually. Use a squeegee or a bank card wrapped in a soft cloth to press it down, working from the centre outwards.
- Remove the transfer tape. Peel it back slowly at a low angle. If any part of the vinyl lifts, place the tape back down and press firmly again.
- Finish the application. Smooth over the lettering once more, paying particular attention to the edges.
